It's a visit that one must do if you are staying at Hassan.. Go early morning reach at the base of the mountain by 6 am. So that it's cooler to climb and go slow so that you don't get tired soon. there is 620-700...More

many tourists visits this monastery. You need to climb around 700 steps to watch the Mahavir's statue.

The tall statue of Lord Mahavir is peace to soul. But should be traveled only in good weather as you need courage for climbing 700 stairs.

The place is called Jinanantha. beautiful temple no activity around the have left a mobile number you could call and they would open for viewing

It is a very rare structure belonging to a minority well maintained and an epitome of peace and tranquility. Should we not feel proud of our diverse culture and beliefs yet to be together with peace and solidarity?
