It's seems little exciting to be in this Temple, as it's all dark and Diya lights on linga, make the ambience interesting. worshipping the 9 planets for betterment of life is one of the oldest tradition in Hindu mythology.

Nabagraha in the past was an important astronomical centre, so much so that the building was dedicated to the nine planets, as well as the epicentre of the tantric cult.

This is the temple which all having any "Graha Dosha" should visit. It is advisable to stick to simple pooja and not go for any rituals as may be advised by the people around the temple.

Parking is available within the temple premise. No you don't need to climb a lot.

You have to be more specific, however almost all of Guwahati hills have same vegetation cover, Navagraha temple has lots of green bushes, trees and not much commercialize. Temple is specifically surrounded by monkeys.
