It is the only place in the north east with so many Shiva- lingas. It is probably the only place in Assam with Jain deities including Mahavira

Situated on the hill on Sri Surya this site is strewn with Shiva lingas. This place is considered to be a natural art gallery of Shiva Lingas. This is a must see destination for the whole family, especially if you are interested in history.

Very calm and silent place to come in the morning for a walk or sightseeing. You need to carry water here and some food items as you may feel hungry after walking a bit at this place.

A few hours away from Guwahati, this place has got some stone sculptures. Unfortunately, the place is not well maintained and is deteriorating day by day. Won't recommend visiting.

a rare beauty standing in isolation with innumerable shiva lingas scattered all around the holy and divine land Surya Pahaar. A site of such historical importance shall well be taken care of.

though the maintenance of this place was not upto mark but the very fact that it has thousands of Shiv Lings was enough for me to enjoy the beauty and divine history of this place. must visit

I've noticed a lot of red-breasted parakeets in Surya Pahar. It was great watching them flying around freely. Other than that, just ruins.

The Surya Pahar hills have numerous stone sculptures, which now lay abandoned and are completely in ruins. Though steps have been taken to protect the site, it's not worth visiting this remotely located archaeological site far from the city.
