Overview
More
School House Winery is a boutique winery located in a renovated one-room schoolhouse originally built in 1886. This historic site has become the perfect location for our winery. Stop by and enjoy our relaxing setting and try our award winning wines. We have a light menu consisting of pizzas, subs, and local cheeses, so plan on a picnic by the our pond while enjoying our wine. We are conveniently located off of I77 exit 85, just outside of Zoar Village and on the outskirts of Amish Country. We are also close to the Canal Scenic Byway and the Towpath Trail. Stop by after a nice walk and join us for a refershing pitcher of sangria.

This was our first stop on a winery tour and was definitely my favorite. The wines have very fun school-themed names and I picked up a delightful, unique Lemon flavored wine. The samples were very generous and the prices for snacks were reasonable. We are...More

Out of our 8 winery stops, this was my favorite! The building is a restored one room school house. It was clean and updated. The wine naming convention was school themed. They also have a bar menu and you could spend time there. The servers...More

This is a quaint little one room schoolhouse converted into a winery. They offer meat and cheese plates and sandwiches. They often host live music on the weekends. In warm months they have an outdoor stage with a nice lawn to sit and sip and...More

The most intriguing part of this visit were the names of the crafted wines presented for tasting and sale ,all were named for school/teacher activities. Much of the actual school as a museum has changed to accomodate a small cafe type sit down .

Traveling in the area and wanted to spend time together. Good wine and fun music with Ren and Big Al. Fun way to spend an evening with your spouse. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful evening outside together.

A unique small winery and eatery that is well managed by very personable local owners. The old school house has been beautifully updated and has a charming atmosphere both inside and out. Great music too! Only several miles from I-77 exit 85.

One of our favorites. Great pizza and wine with a country feel. Prices are reasonable and you can bring your own food or buy it there. Wines range from 12 to 17 a bottle.
