Went to the pictures here twice this year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Real old world charm and lots of character. Two cinemas and toilets available. Food and drinks can be purchased from the candy bar. Senior's tickets are priced at $12.00.

We loved the authentic and charming art deco features of this cinema. There are some concessions to modern times - the ice cream cabinet is a little intrusive - but the attractive ceiling lights make up for such things. The seats are comfortable and the...More

Slightly more expensive than what people are used too, but in saying that it’s an old cinema with a lot of character. Kids struggled without cup holders having to juggle drinks and popcorn but it’s just like any other old cinema worth a visit!

It is located in the main part of town and takes you back to the quaint cinemas of long ago. I just love it as it has a lot of charm. A must if you can!

Not been there before, but what a wonderful, and surprisingly large, Art Deco theatre. Unspoilt in charm. Going there is a family treat.

This lovely old cinema has see some changes but kept it's character. Service is great and it works for those with disabilities and mobility problems.

I love these old character filled cinemas. Long may it live without crass updating. The films offered are a tad bland and predictable. More continental films would enhance the experience. The service is always relaxed and pleasant.

I love this cinema! It's got all the art Deco charm, and not overly modernised. Comfy seats and the digital projection is fantastic on a good sized screen. Prices are cheaper than the city too! Also, check it out at night, when the digital art...More

Visit for the current release movies and take in the Art Deco features, including an amazing box office (no longer used unfortunately). We spent a lovely evening watching a movie and eating choc-tops. It's great to support independent cinemas.
