4 of us took the tram out to Granite Island for a morning's relaxation. The tram ride is so sedate with plenty of photo opportunities. The old horse just plods along at walking pace. When on the island there are plenty of walking tracks and...More

The tram ride over to granite island isn't absolutely necessary as the distance over the causeway is not too far to walk if you want to but this definitely is well worth doing. The tram is a fine old Victorian style and the horse's pulling...More

The trip is about half an hour each way with a twenty minute stopover. You could also stay longer and catch the next trip back.
