Overview
More
The idea to build the d'Arenberg Cube came to Chief Winemaker Chester Osborn in 2003. Inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking, Chester created the idea of a cube-shaped building. Each of the five levels have been carefully designed to entice and excite the senses, including features such as a wine inhalation room, a virtual fermenter, a 360degree video room, and many other tactile experiences. Visitors are encouraged to explore the Alternate Realities Museum, located on the ground floor, and view the many art installations on display. The Cellar Door is located on the top floor, and is open for tastings 7 days a week 10am - 5pm

First visit to McLaren vale and family trip to the vineyards. The d’arenburg cube is certainly interesting but at $50 for three adults and two children not $50 interesting.

It was nice to visit the Cube with a friend who lives locally. To my mind it's an ugly building, and a bit surprising that they managed to get planning permission for it. It's $10 to get in, even for non-drinkers, but we enjoyed the...More

A very different cellar door, but very worth a visit- great wines, but you cannot taste them all. The building is fascinating, new and very different- you hate it or you love it

Celebrating a birthday today with a lunch meal at Pollys - make up your own platter from the menu selection - meats, cheeses, condiments, pates, fruits, etc. - a great lunch accompanied by a d'Arenburg white wine. Very enjoyable! The "cube"? An intriguing and interesting...More

Was looking forward to visiting the much anticipated cube everyone’s been raving about but personally thought it was a bit overrated. Having to pay the $10 fee for entry regardless of whether you are tasting and having to pay an entry fee for my 5...More

Having interstate visitors I recommended visiting and seeing the cube. Two visitors decided to go one day a friend and I another. The service was appalling. The woman collecting your $10 entry fee to the cube was short and we felt like an inconvenience for...More

We have often visited this winery as their wines and the food at D'arry's verandah are superb. This time we visited to experience 'Th Cube'. We were not disappointed. The wine tasting area is located in a very modern area with 360 degree views over...More

We wanted to check out The Cube as we saw the embryonic form the last time we visited in 2016. It is certainly a weird looking thing - just like a giant twisted Rubics Cube, standing out in a vineyard. You have to pay to...More
