Overview
More
The idea to build the d'Arenberg Cube came to Chief Winemaker Chester Osborn in 2003. Inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking, Chester created the idea of a cube-shaped building. Each of the five levels have been carefully designed to entice and excite the senses, including features such as a wine inhalation room, a virtual fermenter, a 360degree video room, and many other tactile experiences. Visitors are encouraged to explore the Alternate Realities Museum, located on the ground floor, and view the many art installations on display. The Cellar Door is located on the top floor, and is open for tastings 7 days a week 10am - 5pm

Don't be put off by the entry fee of $10. There is something for everyone to enjoy even young kids. Views from the Cube are divine! Cap your visit by indulging in wine tasting on level 4!

I loved the mix of great wine, art and the virtual museum. A toilet visit is a must! More art. I shall return to dine as well. Include this in your South Australian trip. It will be worth it.

We have previously enjoyed lunch at "the Verandah", but on this day we toured "the Cube". What an experience - truly an eccentric genius conceptualised, devised and constructed this amazing, mix of nostalgia, art and mystery. A fantastic Alice-in-Wonderland experience! This was topped off with...More

D’Arenberg and it’s amazing ‘cube’ is a must see for several reasons but essentially because the clever family who own it have, as seems their habit, thought ahead and seen that people want more than a traditional cellar door experience. In this day and age...More

Modern Architecture meets old world rural expanse. Clever, quirky, educational and typical of the d'Arenberg intrigue. The hot buzz in the Vale proving interest far and wide. A great compliment to the already popular d'Arrys Verandah Restaurant to provide options for the whole spectrum of...More
