If you love trucks, especially older trucks, then this is a great place to visit. There is a display of restored trucks, trucks undergoing restoration, and a "graveyard" of trucks that have seen better days but still valued as museum display pieces. Not expensive either,...More

Loved this museum with the well documented history of the truckies’ significant role in developing outback Queensland. The restoration of the trucks on display is fantastic - hope they get the funding for the hundreds of trucks in the yard waiting to be worked on

Spent some time wandering around looking at trucks and machinery from days gone by. A very large and interesting collection. Well worth a visit.

Good range of old vehicles and machinery. Only $5 and run by volunteers. Definitely worth a visit even if you're not that interested in this sort of thing.

Ford V8 SV motors everywhere - which was good. Heavy duty engines & transmissions on display - 500 or 600 HP. Had a really enjoyable visit & the boneyard was just brilliant. A "Must Do" when in Winton especially for ex-truckies.

I have seen this advertised on television travel shows, and must admit was disappointed when seeing it in real life. Not many trucks in the two sheds, and outside is just old junk. Also not allowed to open doors to vehicles, which is understandable with...More

But they need some restoration. If you're into old cars and trucks you'll get a bit out of wandering around, but most have not been restored. It is good to support these country town initiatives however to maintain our history. Otherwise they'd be on a...More
