Large range of sculpted emu eggs. Very diverse topics from Athens Olympiad to Twin Towers calamity. Tedious works but great outcomes. Mounted over small lamps to shine through the etched egg.

It truly is unique. It’s the only place in the world (apparently) where you can see a display of emu eggs engraved by the artist. I can see why he took up the hobby because there’s not a lot else going on in St George....More

Amazing art work by a very talented artist, however we were under the impression it was a shop dedicated to only these items, what we found was a sports shop with a little shack out the back, not to be discredited we went in and...More

Well worth the $5 pp entry fee. It is amazing what one man's skill and patience can create from an emu egg. More travellers should make the effort to see this life's work collection.

This is a very interesting museum of emu eggs that have been carved to celebrate significant moments in history, modern patterns, portraits and much more. The eggs have been fitted with internal lights to illuminate the carvings. The museum is small but you can easily...More

This display is worth a visit as the carving of each emu egg takes about 100 hours. There are eight different levels on each egg and they are different colours. The entry fee of $5 is reasonable. Some eggs are beautful and others historic.

this is well worth the visit, amazing man to create this display, so much talent. Other places might have emu eggs carved, but this display outshines all those.

If you truly appreciate the intricies of fine carving take the time to visit this display, every egg has a story and if you are lucky like me you may meet the carver, Stavros.

We visited this exhibition on a Saturday morning, but I think it may have closed around noon. I think the only day it is closed is Sunday, but if in doubt there is a phone number so give it a call!
