Quite a nice place for the kids to swim safely. The bigger kids enjoy jumping off the bridge. Quite a bit of shade. Toilets and a small playground available for youngsters. A fish and chip shop close by.

Visited today. Grabbed hamburgers and chips from the shop opposite. They were fantastic. Took them across and ate them on the island. Was a lovely way to spend part of our day 😀

This was a nice island to walk around especially at low tide. It isn't very big but you can see the water ways on the other side. It has a small park area for the kids to play and there are toilets on the island.

Lovely place to have a picnic, bbq and a swim. You can even fish, paddle board or just lay around and watch everyone else.

The water is warm and shallow, no great tides or waves so the kids can play in the water to their hearts content. Easy parking on the high street and a short walk across the bridge to the island. Good facilities on the island once...More

There is a walk bridge access to this tiny Island. Some good shade trees exist on the Island, a park with equipment for kiddies. Nice calm beach for swimming. We actually rode our bikes to explor Island. Not many bike paths provided on Island.
