This would have to be the cheapest island escape in the country, in fact it's completely free! Well, ok, its really a glorified sandbank with a bit of vegetation and a couple of buildings including yacht club and toilets. But a beautiful natural environment nonetheless....More

Especially if you have kids this is a delight. Playground and lunch spots plus watch pelicans and other bird life. Take a line or rod and try for a fish.

Plenty of grass, playground, picnic tables, safe swimming. Great for kids to run around. Plenty of space for large groups.

The kids like too go there to fish either off the back of the island or off the bridge. Not a lot on the island which is part of its charm. Decent toilet facilities are there and a couple of handy shops as you leave.

Really lovely spot for a wedding 2 things watch for the wildlife and insects. The sailing club building had some history to it and there are public toilets and play area for children and is dog friendly.

Quite a nice place for the kids to swim safely. The bigger kids enjoy jumping off the bridge. Quite a bit of shade. Toilets and a small playground available for youngsters. A fish and chip shop close by.

Visited today. Grabbed hamburgers and chips from the shop opposite. They were fantastic. Took them across and ate them on the island. Was a lovely way to spend part of our day 😀

This was a nice island to walk around especially at low tide. It isn't very big but you can see the water ways on the other side. It has a small park area for the kids to play and there are toilets on the island.
