Mary Cairncross park offers some of the best views of the Sunshine Coast/Glass House Mountains, also the walk/s are lovely, we were lucky enough to see lots of animals including paddle melons.

The park has new buildings with excellent food and pleasant viewing. The forest walk and the interpretive walk is excellent as is the staff who were most in formative. Thoroughly recommend.

Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve is an easy drive from Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. Cafe offering good coffee and meals, information centre and easy walking tracks through rainforest make for a lovely afternoon .. very enjoyable.

No, I'm sorry you can't take your dog. There is an amazing variety of wildlife- birds of many varieties, reptiles and Pademelons (a type of marsupial).
