Overview
More
1 hour Daintree River wildlife cruise on a solar electric boat, so it is nice and quiet and there are no petrol fumes or exhaust and good for getting close to the wildlife. We are the only boat with "Croc Cam"; a digital video with a very good zoom for showing hard to see animals on a big screen. Wildlife includes Salt Water Crocodiles, snakes, frogs, and birds and also interpretation of the mangrove environment.

Martin was extremely willing and helpful. The tour itself lasted about an hour, the guide, John, explained about the flora and fauna in the area. We even had a glimpse of three crocs, a small one and two big ones. The boat has an electrical...More

Incredible crocodile boat trip. Martin was brilliantly knowledgable and clearly passionate about his work. We spotted around 7 crocodiles, some large and some small, as well as frogs, snakes and birds. I honestly cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

Great tour with knowledgeable guide. We saw salt water crocodiles ranging from small babies to large older males and others in between.

We did the cruise yesterday and chose this operator to support a family owned business and we also liked the idea of an eco-friendly tour. Most importantly, we wanted to experience those spectacular reptiles in their natural habitat, instead of visiting some farm. Knowing that...More

Totally recommend. If you are a bit bored of all the over priced, over hyped, mega tour operators in the area and looking for local care and attention to detail, Martin & Dave should be your first choice. Hugely knowledgeable guides and a small, solar...More

We took our two teenage sons on this cruise today and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were greeted by Martin who was super friendly and set the tone for a wonderful morning. Dave, our guide, was amazing. He kept us entertained on the cruise with...More

We enjoyed our trip on the electric boat. Keeping close to the shore we saw crocs, baby crocs, snakes and a few birds. The water level was really high with recent flooding. An excellent tour.

Perhaps I was lucky but somehow I doubt it. Because of traffic problems elsewhere I had an individual tour, Dave the guide certainly knew his patch giving me a wealth of information about crocs and other creatures. Having seen a pretty small one year old...More

Thank you so much for your kind review and yes being a small business owner operator has its challenges . We are up against very large companies and though we keep the prices cheaper than them it is still very very difficult to compete. I...More

The cooler months are better. The crocodiles will leave the water to warm themselves. The hotter months the water is warm so they don't need to soak up the sun.
