Sunset Cruise* Enjoy some relaxing music, listen to a few stories about Cooktown's rich maritime history and cross your fingers for a magnificient sunset.Experience the Endeavour River at its most special time of day. We will explore the harbour in the long afternoon light and then head upstream to watch the sunset over the distant ranges. While navigating the maze way of smaller creeks we will serve a complimentary gourmet cheese platter to accompany your drink of choice. After dark, spotlights add a whole new perspective to the impenetrable walls of mangrove that line the river. Listen to some stories about Captain Cook’s infamous passage along the Cape, about devastating cyclones, about the glory days of pearling luggers and about the new Cooktown, gateway to the frontier. This sunset cruise can make for a wonderfully peaceful way to end the day. •Complimentary Nibbles •Complimentary Gourmet Platters •BYO (ice & glasses on board) •Soft drinks available *2hr cruises depart by appointment from the Cooktown Boat Ramp with a min of 4 and max of 36 passengers. Daytime tours and private functions available.

We went on this tour a couple of nights ago. Very relaxing, informative and the cheese platter was great. BYO alcohol if you want to. The sunset on the night we went was just stunning. Great trip with good company.

Beautiful relaxing trip in a magical setting - thank you! We were lucky with perfect moonlight too. Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. Great for kids. Only suggestion would be the cheese platter was a little dry - add some chutney or similar?
