I can say this, it was by far the best fishing trip I've been on in the whole of oz. good skipper, good spots, choice of techniques. Left or right handle. And some fish for dinner too.

Would recommend cooktown Barra fishing charters with captain Tom we did a full day and had a ball. Tom has a great knowledge when it comes to what's around cooktown

Tom provides a great fishing experience. Apparently also does adventure/hunting trips locally and up the cape. Wet miserable day but captain Tom took us to his favourite spots - lots of crabs but not a lot of fish...just too much rain/freshwater in the river. Happily...More

What an amazing half day on the reef. Tom knew his spots and had us all on good fish very quickly. The three of us walked away with stacks of fish and some very sore arms from all the fishing action. Would go again in...More
