Great park like surroundings. Plenty of parking, will accomodate caravans etc. Toilets both inside and out. Great picnic area. A few exhibits outside before entry. Very helpful staff. Souvenirs.

They have some interesting static displays around the grounds - the entrance fee into the museum seemed a little steep for something I could learn online - although we were short of time anyhow but probably would've paid had time allowed.

Was very impressed with the video of the town and surroundings followed by the wonder through the museum today. The museum provides a very comprehensive snapshot of the history not only in Cloncurry but Mary Kathleen and surrounds. Well priced and ver informative. Recommend.

We have free camped a few times at the Mary Kathleen “Ghost” Town and wanted to learn more about the town. The museum in Cloncurry was very informative and well worth the visit. It also has other interesting stuff about the area.

Our visit started with a really excellent 17 minute video presentation about Cloncurry that has been professionally produced. Then, into the museum where things were in lit cases, with clean labels and spread out. In the midst of it was a personal research desk with...More

Revisited this town; worked here in the 80’s at the Main Roads Dept. the memorial pavers look excellent and a great way to commemorate past residents.

I think entry was free. The gardens surrounding the park are lovely. Can't tell you about dogs - don't remember seeing any "no dogs" signs, but not sure. Sorry.
