Do it. It's a beautiful walk deep into the Daintree, and it doesn't take much walking to get into well established wilderness. The tourguide has deep knowledge, passion and humour and can capture the imagination with his stories. We had an environmental scientist on the...More

We enjoyed our small group tour with Wonder Tours and even went for a swim in Copper Creek after our lunch at the lodge. Our guide was extraordinary, knowledgeable and fun, too

Make sure you visit both the coastal rain forest and the inland rain forest. Saw a couple of wild wallabys, lots of wild birds with the highlight being a cassowary from about 20 feet away. The diversity of the rain forest is amazing, really enjoyed...More

The characterful and jocular guide tooks us around his garden sort of for a stand around two hour travail. The trees in situ: decompositional. paleobotanical, descriptive but without vertebra or a trail-walk of duration or effect. However it was informative, intimate in effect, playful, creative,...More

Travellers encouraged to depart for the Daintree Rainforest after breakfast, from the dormitory centres of Cairns and Port Douglas, arrive at the Daintree Ferry crossing en-masse, causing congestion and queues that can extend for long periods (sometimes over 2-hours). Because the day has a common...More

I would absolutely recommend this tour if you want to know more about the Daintree, the plants, the animals and its history. The guide has a wealth of information that is second to none. Also saw a cassowary with his chick at the end. Beautiful...More

Taking the boat trip on Coopers Creek is a learning experience and so much about crocodiles, mangrove varieties, the rainforests, all in under 2 hours. Well worth the trip.

We went on the two hour tour with Tony. He is very passionate about botany and it was interesting to listen to him. I was hoping for some information about spiders, bugs, etc, too, but it was all about plants. Still very good and interesting....More

We mostly went for the fan palm walk, which was ok and very informative, but it was the 2nd half of the tour that I'll remember most. The guy who takes the croc-spotting tour has been doing this for 27 or 37 years, and he...More

we went on the 4 hour hike and really enjoyed it. Neil uses the hike as a way to educate people about the rainforest so there are multiple stops for educational talks. It was maybe a little more standing than we expected which was the...More
