arrived early would be my suggestion - we walked onto the beach and has it to ourselves for a good 30 mins - time to explore and take in the stunning backdrops - wanted to swim but also didnt want to swim with the crocs...More
Fantastic drive to get to Cape Tribulation. Crossing the ferry is fun in itself but the scenary when you get there is fantastic. Lots of lovely beaches on the way too We had our 87 year old father with us. Walking down to the beach...More
The weather wasn't the best on our visit but it was still a nice stroll and the surrounding scenery & birdlife noise made it a bit special.There are also several other walks you can do that lead to the beach as well. A nice Spot.
We stayed at the cape trib beach house so were lucky enough to have this beach 10 meters from our door.

It's a long and not scenic drive. Don't go past the Daintree park...the drive from there down to Port Douglas is much better. The cape is just another beach/bay that doesn't merit the tough boring drive.
