This is paradise on earth. We arrived early and were all alone in the Cenote for one hour. Unforgetable moments....Arrive at opening for the pleasure of having it all to yourself !

Love this place. We are here off season. Hardly a soul. The temple and setting is absolutely stunning. The Cenote has the most incredible birds flying around. The air smells of honey. LOVING IT!

Ek Balam is worth a visit when in Valladolid. The ruins are well preserved and full of history. You can climb to the top of the pyramids and take in the scenic and panoramic views. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful place. Not as crowded as outher Maya sites. At the moment you are still allowed to climb this monument but it's very steep. Either you come here before noon or after 3 pm. The buildings are in a good condition and there are enough...More

Small and less well preserved than Chichen Itza but you largely have the place to yourself. Hire a guide (not cheap) but well worth it for a really comprehensive explanation of the buildings, traditions and culture of the early Mayan inhabitants. We then hired bikes...More

We got a private taxi driver from Manuel Sanchez Maya Adventure Taxi for the excursion. Miguel didn't speak much English but that was not a problem at all. I am very glad we hired an English speaking Mayan man to really tell the full history...More

We went a few days ago and we paid $150 MXN for a rickshaw ride that included the entrance fee. The ticket booth also offered $120 MXN for individual bike rentals that included the entrance fee to the cenote.
