Alamos has a colorful and important history and the Museum presents it in approachable fashion. ( I can read a bit of Spanish so that helped)

Charming little museum in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico, just off the main square. Tells the history of the town, especially about the silver mining in the nearby hills. Not a great museum but worth the visit if you're in Alamos.

Interesting little museum about Alamos and the surrounding area. Everything is in Spanish, but they provide you with an English guide which is helpful. It is worthwhile, particularly at the cost of admission which is only 10 pesos.

This is an interesting museum that highlights the important historic details of Sonora and its culture. We walked through it in less than an hour and it was worth the small entrance fee.
