The pyramids are impressive at a distance, even more so up close. The climb up the Pyramid of the Sun is not for the faint of heart or the ones who are out of shape. Arriving early during the summer is a must. It is...More

What can you say about this place, other than it takes your breath away. Also take plenty of water with you! We took the public bus from Mexico City there - return ticket was something like 100 pesos. So easy to do. So worth a visit

Before going there, I was wondering if it was really worth or not. No doubt it is a great place. Quite in good shape and well preserved. Unfortunately we don t know so much on this civilization and it’s way living.

Excellent pyramids and location with the highest pyramids in pre Columbus America. Site is as impressive as Tikal and Copa Mayan sites we visited before. Lots of stairs so be prepared for a workout!

We visited on a Sunday and it was a mob scene. I am posting photos, I was here two years ago on a weekday and it was a much more serene, less crowded experience.

great place to visit and explore, only about 50 minutes by bus from Mexico City Norte Bus Terminal, you need a minimum 2-3 hours to most, the sun is very strong during a sunny day so do not forget the sunblocker

Access from CDMX is super easy...bus from the Northern Bus Station was easily procured...clean, comfortable and way cheap. Lunch can be had...More

I got there around 8.30 and got in straight away. I didn't take note of when it actually opens but would assume 8.00am.
