The cemetery is beautiful. The Mexican people have such respect for their loved ones. The location is easy to find and waking here is beautiful.

While I am not an expert on Mexican cemetery traditions we found this little cometary well worth the visit. The way of celebration life over death, with soccer balls, egg shell flowers, painted dogs brought tears to our eyes in a very good way. Very...More

Ok, I don't usually make a point of visiting cemeteries but if you are walking by this place it's worthwhile going in to see all of the beautifully adorned tombs. I have been told that the gates are often locked up so I guess we...More

Coming from the United States, I don’t expect a cemetery to be filled with flowering trees, birdsong, colorful tributes, and music. I love the celebration of life, both past and present, that we were privileged to see.

My first trip to Mexican cemetery and worth the trip. Very colorful grave decorations and huge variety of markers. I was shocked and disappointed by how much trash was scattered about. Great for photos, lots of trees and flowers.

Went on the evening of dia dos Muertes. Really crazy. Hundreds of families celebrating their dearly departed. Lots to see on any day.

So worth stopping for a walk through. Very elaborate and colorful. The Mexicans really take care of their ancestors. I am told once a year, on Day of the Dead, they come and have a picnic on their ancestors graves so they can tell them...More

Mexican village cemeteries are different in Mexico than cemeteries in the U.S., Canada or Western Europe. The graves are placed helter skelter throughout the property and there are tombs that are difficult to walk around. You definitely must be sure footed unless you stay on...More
