When visiting Isle d'Orleans its a must to visit some of the four wineries on the island. The wine is very good here and the sommelier was very knowledgeable. It's a lovely property so enjoy a glass or two outside!

The man who gave us our tasting was very knowledgeable and nice. He should get commission from a local restaurant as he sent three groups of people there for a meal after the tasting, us included

With French origins, it was only natural that the Quebecoise found a way to make wine! They use hybrid vines that can survive the extreme winters. This winery is one of several located on the Isle d'Orleans, which was the highlight of my trip. The...More

Small vineyard with great white, rose, & red. Really cool tasting room with stone walls and wide pine beams. Incredibly quaint. So glad we stopped.

Quebec wines are from different grapes than what we Californians are used to. This makes for interesting tastings. However, Bacchus does a decent job with their whites and rose and even does a pretty good job with a red; difficult in this clime. The winery...More
