An hour's drive from Charlottetown, on the eastern side of PEI, this is a pleasant escape from the crowds of the north shore. We went on a hot weekend in June and had the beach all to ourselves! White sand, clean water, clean change rooms,...More

Good beach. Very secluded. Almost no one on the beach. only downfall was the amount of garbage on the beach.

This beach was closed to the public when we visited in September but you can walk in from the gates in about 5 minutes. Being closed it was quiet but many "locals" with small kids were there as it was a soft sand beach. I...More

Beautiful beach and picnic park well off the main highways. Gorgeous views of red cliffs. At far end of the beach is a fabulous snorkelling area, but wet suits are advised in September. Changing rooms and clean toilets on site. Also no admission charges.

We could experience the beauty of the red sand PEI beaches with only a few other people. The only downside was the jelly fish.

this is a beach that is remote, quiet and fabulous for the person who loves to rekax and read on the beach or be adventurous and walk the shoreline. Beautiful sandy beach - away from the busy areas. In all the years of living on...More

We really didn't know what to expect, but could not believe that such a beautiful spot could be so sparsely inhabited on a gorgeous summer afternoon, despite its isolation. The view and tranquility are superb. Our only complaint was that the boardwalk was so short....More

This is a little gem of a beach in Spry Point. There is a nice wooden boardwalk down to a long sandy beach which is not crowded. There are park amenities including a nice central building housing an eating area and clean washrooms. There is...More

Just popped into the park to see the beach. Nobody there. Nice sand and not windy. There is a day event building there so the number of people probably depends on events being held there at the time. You can collect a bit of sea...More

Great beach, if you want to spend a few hours relaxing by the water. Not very busy, not crowded. A good place to look for sea glass!

On a recommendation from a "true islander" we spent a wonderful afternoon on Sally's beach on east side of PEI. The tide was out so we walked the beach. The tide pools were full of interesting creatures. Great place for families and couples.
