From what was offered and what was charged does make sense to me! The collection of photos, memorabilia, and furnishings doesn't seem like the author's doing of collecting all that stuff! Did she have premonition that she'd be rich and famous at such an early...More

Good time visiting Green Gables. Fun remembering the books that Montgomery wrote. The walk through the property was beautiful! October 2017

Our daughter had read all of the Anne of Green Gables books and was really looking forward to this visit to the Green Gables site. The historic sight of the house and all of its rooms, as it was in the book, was so realistic....More

Visited the site 20 years ago and it was a charming and touching spot. It’s understated simplicity allowed you to admire the scenery and get lost in the original wonder so beautifully captured by the writer. It was a beautiful honor for Montgomery and the...More

Was so looking forward to see the house but was quite disappointed by all the construction that is happening there. Obstructs the original home completely.

This is the house that inspired LM Montgomery to write the Anne of Green Gables book. You can walk through all the rooms of the house and take pictures. There are also several paths to walk (easy walking), one of which is called the haunted...More

A must-see for anyone who loved the Anne of GG books as a child. The house is quite different from the one used in the famous tv adaptation(s), but it’s the one that inspired L.M. Montgomery when she wrote the books, with the interiors decorated...More

Its magical, its like taking a step back to Anne's time. It's puffy sleeves, it's the forest. The trails are easy and very pretty to walk through. If in PEI it's worth going to visit.

Not being fans of Anne of Green Gables, we didn’t get the same experiences as her fans. We did enjoy the tour of the house and the pastries. The Fall scenery is worth the trip. As was the trip from Charlottetown.

It is a self guided tour. Tickets are not free but were free to youth in 2017/18. I think an adult ticket is $8.00. Just show up when you want.

Not really walking distance (to me) but within a mile if that suits. Very close to the main drag
