Visited Ferris with husband and teenaged daughter on June 29 and 30th. This is a great park to visit for the weekend - it is beautiful and right next to the town of Campbellford, so lots to do here for a weekend or long weekend....More

We started camping only a couple of years ago and where looking for peace and quit....we found it here. We love it, you can hike on different paths, or walk into town for breakfast or lunch. We rented kayaks and paddeled along the Trent canal....More

Nice well maintained paths to hike, walked down near the river and sat on the rocks although afterwards noticed signs that recommended not to do so because of the dam. We only went for the day but they do have camp grounds.

Nice place to go for a picnic with family and friends and enjoy the pleasant weather. Also, views from the bridge are very nice and are a nice spot to take photos.

Visited for the weekend with my husband and 4 year old twins. This is an older park but clean and well kept. There is a nice playground and a very cool suspension bridge to walk across. It was very hot this weekend and was disappointing...More

For Victoria Day long weekend, we decided to take a quick 90 min drive to Campbellford for some giant toonie & suspension bridge action! Ferris Provincial Park is not far from the "downtown" portion of Campbellford so very easy to get to. A smaller park...More

We walked into the park from the suspension bridge. It's a nice park with picnic tables, latrines, and water taps all over. There were plenty of signs, so it's hard to get lost. My only complaint is its a pet friendly place, however every animal...More

We've driven by so many times, we decided to go for it for the long weekend - only one hour drive! Lovely campsite, very helpful staff, beautiful trails. Campbellford bakery, chocolate factory, and bistro were greatly appreciated on the rainy Saturday. And only 30 min...More

Hammock tents are allowed in all Provincial Parks that I’ve been to. The tricky part is finding a site with the appropriate trees... Good luck!
