It's a fairly long drive down a badly potholed gravel road to get here but boy is it worth it. Not for the fort (charge for entry), but to watch the whales feeding. At the carpark before you get to the fort (room for around...More

We walked around for about 2 hours enjoying the amazing views and learning the history. The drive out to the point is very nice and the view of Trinity from the light house is beautiful

Photogenic, accessible, and easy to view from a number of different angles. The lighthouse is fenced off and you can only enter it by paying a fee; however, great photo opportunities are available from Trinity, the Skerwink Trail and by driving out to the lighthouse...More

We could see the lighthouse from the B&B we stayed at in Trinity and decided to see it up close. The road to it is not well marked and not paved for portions but worth the drive. There are spectacular views looking out and also...More

We stayed in a house in Trinity that faced this historic lighthouse, which is an especially interesting place to visit with children. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and provide a walking tour of the lighthouse grounds, and their importance during various wars. The foghorn...More
