A truly magical trip. The zodiac was tons of fun and being able to see the beauty of Newfoundland from this vantage point was awesome. Really enjoyed it! The only part that could have been better was seeing a whale but they can't be faulted for that. The whales do have a mind of their own after all.

What a great excursion! We took the zodiac we were a little nervous but wow what a great choice
We went into the little nooks and crannies that a larger vessel could not
got to see a large arrangement of seabirds and caves
I can’t say enough about this trip and Captain Bob
Please please take the trip on the zodiac it’s comfortable and so easy to see everything
I’d give it a 10/10 and we will come back next summer!!!

Our zodiac tour was one of the best things we have done in our lives. It was thrilling to be out on the ocean and see the icebergs and the caverns and the landscape from the water. It was cold and we had some rain but it was well worth the trip and we would not trade it for anything. The Captain was knowledgeable, friendly and so much fun with his stories! He spent a lot of time taking us to see the icebergs and watching for whales. We loved the suits we had to wear and they did keep us dry and warm considering the elements. I highly recommend the zodiac because you cannot get close to the bergs or whales or explore the caverns any other way. Thank you for the fantastic, memorable tour!

This is the company for you if you want a real adventure. Riding in the rescue boat alone was a thrill for my boys (husband and 4 and 6 year olds 😅). It is fast and agile and we were able to follow a cow and calf in big swells off the cape. It was an absolutely amazing experience and a surprisingly smooth ride given the big seas. None of the other tours were able to see whales except us on that day in the first week of August. Highly recommend 🌊

What an amazing experience!! Captain Bob is the whale whisperer .. we saw several whales and a couple that were playfully breaching in front of us. The smaller boat allowed us to go into caves, see the puffins and manoeuvre closer to the whales. The boat sat 9 comfortably and no one felt any sea sickness. Highly recommend this experience!!

We had a fascinating time! Not only the whale sightings were amazing, the trip took us inside the maze of the sea caves and water channels! We got a chance to see the world that isn’t visible from land or large boats. Id highly recommend!!

Amazing time with Captain Bob. This was my second time in 2 weeks being on his tour. Always a great time. Bob will go to places that bigger boats cannot get, into caves around rock formations. And of course whales!

What a time Bob gives in the water! I recommend his tour for all seasons! I meet people and we take pictures and exchange them. It’s much more than trolling around when you’re on DSA!

We took the morning trip and very much enjoyed it! We definitely saw some whales but also puffins and jellyfish and starfish. Unexpectedly my favorite part was touring around and into some small caves along the coast. Wear sunscreen!

I am taking my grandson to Newfoundland in June and am happy to see all the rave reviews for this trip. Checking to see if this is a safe trip for a 7 yr old boy and also if the boat is fairly easy to get in and out of for a 70 yr old grandmother. Thanks.

Hi yes this is a safe trip for any age. The dock we leave from is a floating dock same height as the boat very easy to get into.

Absolutely take the tour if weather-permitting. The Capt will tell you if the sightings are good at the time you call to book. Discovery Sea Adventures.
