Since my first trip to Bar Harbor I wanted to visit FDR's summer home on Campobell Island, Canada. It was worth the drive. The employees were so helpful and friendly. Did have to get lodging on the Canadian side, but that went well.

The main "cottage" fine by itself, add the neighboring ones on either side and it makes for a very nice afternoon. Our tour guide was very informative and interactive.

Once a day and it is first come first serve for Tea with Eleanor. Just cross FDR bridge from Lubec and stop at the tourist information place or download the island map from the internet but there is no way to get lost.
