Awesome place for 4wding and shenanigans. Weather was great and plenty of wind for those kite surfers. We had a mini BBQ and properly enjoyed our time. Even the young boys had a great time out there.

Went quad biking and sand boarding. Both are excellent in a spectacular setting. Amazing how soft the sand is and how accessible it is. Wonderful!

Nice landscapes and views, the sand boarding was fun with great pricing. However, got a bit boring after a while of sand boarding but overall good experience

Fun, but tiring. Would recommend taking a 4wd because climbing the sand dunes is tiring. Good pricing.

So fun! But we really didn’t need our boards for too long as we got quite tired continuously walking up the dunes to come down again. If you have a 4wd you can drive all around the area too and right up to any dunes to sand board down them (just don’t get yourself stuck)

This is a great place for sandboarding. Whether you have your own board or hire one from the Lancelin townsite, this is a fun experience with lots of exercise, especially climbing back up the steep sand hills only to side down again.

This is very close to the townsite but s car is best to get there.

Took the short detour to have a look at the dunes, unfortunately we had to park some distance away as a number of quad bikers were already on the dunes. Not sure if the the rental businesses control access or perhaps is better not to take your own vehicle to have a closer look.

Done the sandboarding many times and had fun. However I consider it risky, not due to the risk involved in the activity itself but due to other activities going around in the same area. There is no demarcation between the areas for sandboarding and other motorised sports activities.

Though most of the motorised equipment user does the right thing and stay away from the areas where most sandboarders are concentrated we always find few idiot driving 4wd and quadbikes dangerously close to the kids enjoying sandboarding. To make the matter worse they do not seem to have full control of their vehicle. If the association who looks after recreational activities here is serious about safety and sustainability they should demarcate the sandboarding zone from other users and enforce it. Else it's just an accident waiting to happen.

Great spot for a play. Lots of fun for a day. If you don’t have your own 4wd you can hire quads, dune buggy’s & sandboards. Well with a visit.

We had a great time having fun at the sand dunes! Sand surfing is a first - and we enjoyed it greatly! You get to rent your sand boards at $5 each, they'll provide you the wax to wax your board. And there you go happily, surfing down the sand dunes! The only thing was we came at the wrong season, the flies are sooooo superb annoying and we regretted not getting the mosquito net hat! 😂 We didn't get to try the 4 wheel drives as we reached a lil late and they were closing. It's a must try in Lancelin!
