We ate lunch at a table overlooking the cove, near Whistling Rock. It was a windy day (our picnic kept blowing away) and the rock really was whistling. We played on the rocks near Whistling Rock, watched the waves breaking over the base of the...More

Thistle Cove This is a small beach in Cape Le Grand and is a little bit stony at some of the waters edge. It is great in that it is a fairly quiet beach, people wise, but other than the beautiful colour of the water,...More

Part of the National Park, as with all the bays in the NP clear waters and white sands. As it is a smaller bay, there are less facilities, but only a short drive between bays for toilets and picnic areas

We absolutely loved our time at Thistle Cove so much that we came back twice. A little difficult to get down to but perfect once you're down and enjoying the crystal blue water and the squeaky white sand! A must see whilst visiting WA!

A quite and peaceful little beach away from the crowds of Lucky Bay. Same amazing blue waters and brilliant white sands.

Although the wind is quite strong, the beach and water is nice. On the top of hill next to the beach lies whistle rock. Great place to swim if Lucky Bay is too crowded.

Hard to split the points between Thistle and Hellfire. Thistle requires walking down a rock (really hard to see where the correct path is) and it may be slightly more protected from the wind. Clear blue water and dramatic hills surrounding the bay and a...More

Yet another beautiful spot and it's not far from Lucky Bay. The whistling rock is here and great scenery.

That's such a little lagoon. Turquoise water and white sand, it is so beautiful. We have been the only ones there for a long time. Can highly recommend to go there.
