I am sorry but while the winery was very appealing presentation wise. We found the wine tasting limited. Each of us have varying tastes and needed to pay extra if we wanted a wine from another list. We wanted to try others but think to keep paying extra was inappropriate.
We did buy a bottle to take back to our accommodation which was OK but were charged the price but were not refunded for the costs of the pricing fee.
That is not good and frankly a rip-off. We won't be recommending to our friends.
Thank you.

What a great winery!
The setting is fantastic and the gardens well kept.
There is plenty of wine to taste in a very comfortable setting.

Delicious wine, beautiful cellar door and warm fire on a wet day. Had a wonderful morning with Roxanne at Peter Lehman.

Recently revisited as this had always been one of our favourite stops in the Barossa - especially when the weather is warm and dry and we can sit out at one of the picnic tables with a platter of meats and cheeses. On this particular occasion it was cold and rainy so we sat inside but there was a cozy fire and sofa for us and the kids. Best of all, the meat and cheese platter has grown in size and selection - and is very affordable. Having ate platters at dozens of wineries around South Australia I can hands down say that this is one of the best and certainly best priced.

Such a wonderful and welcoming team at Peter Lehmann's. First visit to the beautiful Barossa, and the first cellar door we visited, it did not disappoint. Wines were a delight, Roxy and Angela were lovely, really friendly and super helpful. A must to visit in the Barossa.

We rolled up about 10.45 am
Early for wine but were heading back to Adelaide for a flight
Get there and there’s a bus in the car park BENDERS BUS TOURS
I’m thinking ooh! Not good
Get to the tasting table and get told there was no room for us as they were in middle of multiple buses. Sorry! But we were welcome to purchase with no tasting! Riiiight.
I collect good wine and know PL is a quality label - trouble is buses/ groups/ soul-less venue
Went on to Rockford for the antithesis experience
Spent $2500 there then Eperosa - the two best wineries in the valley (anther $1600 there lol)
What a great bit of serendipity!

Rocked up n a Saturday at 10.30 - only a small number of people there and we were turned away! Their loss as we were all keen to purchase. Would have thought they could squeeze in another tasting. Disappointing. So if you really want to taste their wines - make sure you pre-book.

Very accommodating
We’re able to accommodate us with no reservation on Easter Sunday for some wine (tasty The Barossan Shiraz) and a platter (excellent combination, well balanced and plenty for lunch for two). We enjoyed this in their beautiful gardens. What’s more, this was all handled with good grace and no judgement. Well done staff!

We decided to have a Sunday lunch picnic (packed at home) and head to a cellar door to purchase a bottle of wine to go with the picinc. As we had been at Peter Lehmann's cellar door before, we thought we would head there. At the cellar door we were told, that they don't want people bringing their own food as they have food for purchase, and that they weren't a public picnic ground. Needless to say that we did not purchase a bottle of wine (and won't be doing so in the future) and got a lovely bottle of wine and a picnic spot at another winery.
The interesting thing is that cellar door wasn't even busy. There was nobody sitting outside, and about three cars in the car park when we arrived.

Hi, just wondering if your winery and others in the area are open over the Easter Weekend? Good Friday and Easter Sunday?
