We got a bit lost at first, the walk was alright, only saw like 2 butterflies (I think it was the wrong season) so the walk was pretty average, nothing exciting happened.....

Easy. Simply leave the car at Capt Cook memorial and stroll through some lovely bush trails with views that Capt Cook would have loved. Well he did travel 18 months to get there 😉

Lovely walk, need good shoes, great for nature lovers. Take water and sun screen if hot. Butterflies all year round in varying amounts.

An easy walk with spectacular views. Casual shoes, sunny's and a hat are all that are required on this beautiful coastal walk. Highly recommend.

Didn’t see many butterflies but the views over 1770 were worth the short walk and great photo opportunities!

Stunning views on this walk and butterflies everywhere. Short track in a loop great for all ages. Don’t need to be fit but it is uphill to get to the lookout platforms. Definitely worth doing.

My family and I loved this walk. It was different and interesting and just stunningly beautiful. Short and easy for the kids. There had been rain, so a few spots were underwater, but only our feet got wet!

I’m no expert in this area or insects for that matter however for subtropical areas April, May, June are peak season for a butterfly
