Thank you for your excellent review. We are open on Thursdays and Saturdays and also the second and fourth Sunday of each month. On the fourth Sunday, we have an interesting presentation for the cost of a gold coin.

Great to take a family on an outing, this would be one of the best museums to do with Ipswich`s past in the coal mining days

This was a special day for the museum. Bands playing, many displays of a heritage nature and interesting coal mining history. We saw a movie display about the history of old local stores over the years. Very interesting. Many stalls with great food. Great day.More
