Stopped at Percé today and saw the Percé Rock. Very neat rock formation. Would be better in the summer when it is warmer and you could go out to it. Still a cool place to see.

Near Gaspe, this famous Pierced Rock is visible from a road overlook viewing point, see my photos. I understand boat rides are available locally for a very close look.

It was a beautiful sight and the drive to it was pretty too! It was very windy and there is a short walk (dirt trail) slightly uphill to reach the view point.

Really an interesting geological phenomenon...but viewing it from several pull outs on the road was plenty for us.
