A little hidden gem of a museum!
Dec 2019 • Family
A fantastic little museum that a friend had recommended. We took our four children, aged between four and eleven and all of them absolutely loved it, as we both did. You have to book your guided tour, which is so informative and interesting. We also had time to take lots of amazing photos. Hard to choose our favourite, but the upside down living room was great fun!

Came thinking it would be optical illusions which it was but alot more fun. We learnt how you can be in the same room but one is a giant. A room like me sat on a sofa & partner climbing the wall great fun takes about 1.5 hours

Amazing place - worth a drive! Remember to book...
Jul 2019 • Family
We went with our two boys (5 and 8) and all of us loved it.
First time we came we didnt know we had to book and it was full to our disappointment as we had driven over an hour to come.
But we are so glad that we booked for the next day and came back. It is the most amazing little museum and the guided tour is really good and informative and the guide was easy to understand and very engaged.
The visit lasts for about 1,5 hour and it actually feels more than enough, as our brains were tired after trying to understand all the illusions.
We would recommend doing a day trip to Trapani when visiting the museum, as the city is beautifull to walk around in as well.

Much more fun than you would think...

My husband and I visited today and had a great time! We have incredible photos which our personal guide - Stephania - took for us! She was really friendly, knowledgeable and patient with us. Everyone is assigned a guide. Great for adults and kids. Very interactive and interesting. It may be surprising that a museum which has nothing to do with Italy could end up being the photos we share most often with people at home!

Excellent experience

Well done small organised place with air-conditioning (which help on hot day as today 34'C). Open from 15.30 only during Monday to Saturday and Sunday from 10am. It does say you have to book it online and choose your time with the guide and cant just rock up and buy your ticket for (EU 13 per person). You cant also buy your ticket on the day it needs to be the next following day. Well we did go home and bought our tickets for 15.30. No confirmation was send by email so we were a little bit uncertain what will happened. We arrived at 15.25 with all doors still closed. Then a gentleman arrived at 15.30 (time of our tour) and open the door. We walked in together with another 30 people waiting and the chaos started. The same man distributed our receipts around and we started the tour with 9 people in the group. We were the only English speaking but our guide Alessandra spoke good English and she translated everything for us. There was a problem to hear anything as soon after our group another groups started (and before they started they were very noisy to organise they entry which they didn't book). It is a very small space and people voices did spoiled our visit. We were told it is a very busy day today but we were wondering why the owner didn't tried to ask if we will wait and go later. We would definitely wait rather than be the only adult couple in the middle of families. Anyway it was a great experience and there are some really educational parts plus a great pictures taken by the guides. Tour takes 90mins. It need a little bit more organisation and connection with the visitors and it will became really top attraction.

I was sceptic about taking my husband and kids there but everyone enjoyed it. The guide was kind enough to take photos and we had some great family quality time with some good laughs. Highly recommended. Spent one and a half hours.
