We initially laughed about going to. Sand Museum...but I'm thrilled we went to Plaka to find it! It is more an artists studio than "museum". That said, he has is set up in a way that allows you to learn about the sand he uses...More

We loved seeing this small museum (free entrance). It is more of a workshop with small displays and microscopes but absolutely fascinating. I won't spoil the surprising things you can see. There are various artefacts made of sand to buy. My ten year old daughter...More
