An icon of Roxas city, this bridge traverse the city center and the old business district. The river now cleaner than before. It's one of a kind in Panay Island, highlight this as a tourism icon of the city. It will be beautiful if we...More

The bridge is just ordinary but its strategic location and the historical value makes it valuable. It is located just across the 17th century old Church accentuated by the fountain at the foot of the bridge. It serves as the gateway to the downtown district...More

Its just a bridge, a very busy bridge. Nothing too fancy about it other than it is old. Not sure why its even on here.

The bridge spans the Panay River. Looks very colonial on the adjacent riverbank with the municipal buildings and the cathedral. Nice area on the riverside to sit and watch the world go by. There is another newer bridge further down river, and both bridges now...More

After 100 years the original city bridge built during the Spanish times still stand strong in the hustle and bustle of the growing city. It connects the 2 parts of the city and takes center stage with its pristine condition.

This old bridge doesn't look like it has changed a bit since I first noticed it in the 1950s. It is still beautiful and regal as ever. The Capizenos and Roxas City residents should try there best to preserve this historical structure for posterity.
