This beach was not commercialized at all, except perhaps for one or two small sari-sari store, when we were growing up in Roxas City. Now it is swarming with all kinds of restaurants and hotels / inns. You could hardly see anymore how nice this beach is as it once was.

There are strips of seafood restaurant in this place. on the left row are of Albason (where we ate-fresh and affordable), bebings, coco veranda (mid-range), harry's (their "pinalupad na isda" tastes really good), reese , Marc's or Bitoy's (with the best pork barbeque in Panay Island), Jaque's cafe (they have good barako coffee), cafe felisa (known for their baby back... The area is surrounded by restaurants which I would rate as a tourist trap. We ate at the famous Coco Veranda however got disappointed for having most of my orders are not available, particularly seafoods. The beach is quite dirty so not good for swimming as well.

It is a dark brown almost black beach , with waves always passing by and minimal depth. It is not for swimming it is maybe for splashing ur body. However the main attraction here should be the seafood restaurant along the beach.

There are many restaurants and stalls to choose from. It beach stretch is great for a late afternoon stroll and dining with a view. It is quite far from the city center but tgere are many tricycles around. Just be sure to book only the numbered tricycles because the others are colorums.

The sand and water is well kept by the locals, its a good place to stroll while waiting for your food (which is being cooked in one of the restaurants along the beach). Local says the beach is crowded during weekends and holidays.

When you wanted to have a fresh and tasty sea foods, this is the right place to eat, near the beach (beach view) fresh air, and accessible in all vehicles. Must try also the grilled fish, (any kind) Fresh and Delicious! Be back again to eat.

Great time to walk along the black powdery beach as it is low tide. Lots of shells and marine life, small fish, hermit crabs matched with different birds in the sky. I just hope people will mind their trash so none will go to the sea.

I enjoy walking up and down the beach from San Antonio resort, you can pop into many of the local restaurants from the beach
