This is a great small town museum that is free to the public. If you are looking for a place to educate your children on the local area, it is a great starting point.

Lots of war and medical history, I have worked in Newton NC for several years and it's amazing how many people visit this wonderful Museum.

Loved the courtroom pretty neat to see the medical doctor office and OR from back in the day. The armed service tribute was interesting too. It is a good learning field trip for children and adults

suprising information about interesting people and great history. something for all ages. good displays with great pictures and displays of everything from old race car to furniture and displays on polio hospital. changing exhibits keep me coming back

Great way to spend an hour in downtown Newton. Plenty to see. Great restaurants just around the corner.
