Based on other reviews we decided to spend a weekend camping here. The campground is small and there is only 10-12 sites with electricity. There are group campsites for tenting that are lovely - set off the bit in the woods. The bathrooms and shower...More

Medoc Mountain has great trails with varying terrain. The summit trail had more of an incline (hence the name) and other trails were much more gentle. I would recommend Medoc Mountain to anyone who wants to get out and experience some trails. Next time our...More

Brand new mountain bike trails, very well maintained and groomed that run beside some of the most pristine fresh water in N.C. . Probably one of the best MTB trails east of Raleigh and a trip to Medoc State park would not be complete without...More

The park appeared to be nice but it just didn't jump out at me as being anything special. You can picnic, camp, canoe, kayak, or fish. They offer 10 miles of hiking trails and bridal trails. We didn't walk very far (just stretching our legs)...More

There are 12 hook-up sites with electric and water for RV's and there is a dump station. There are water faucets at various places for the tent sites.

Ours is a 32' class c. There were bigger class A homes there. Shouldn't be a problem. Roads in are nice, we came from I95 area , camping area isn't very big, but shouldn't have any problem maneuvering in there.
