I was amazed at the inventory that this museum had on display, from Andre the Giant memorabilia to fossils, Native American & early American relics, to animals around the world Dr. Rankin acquired. Cool museum to check out!

This museum is a hidden treasure. There is so much of interest to see! There are artifacts from this area as well as from all over the world. Great field trip for students and families!

My second visit was just as impressive as my first. With the upcoming HBO special on Andre the Giant, I recommend to all in the area and those heading to the beach from the north to make the stop to this gem of a museum....More

Local benefactors contributed much of the collection from around the US including Native American artifacts. Local families have space featuring 19th century life and times. Well worth a visit of a couple hours. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Gift shop on-site. Easily reached a half block off...More
