Modern and very well maintained Public Park. There is a very beautiful stainless steel sculpture titled “Spiral Odyssey” created by Richard Hunt. There is also a cascading water feature, huge stones, gazebo, grass area, and vegetable garden.

I was disappointed because I expected something more from this park, something that would justify its name after Romare Bearden. I do not know why, but I just expected some art there. At least may be a memorial plate with the description of artist's life...More

A great place to take a picture with the city as a back drop. It's a nice park, but not a lot to do besides just "chill". There were a lot of people with their dogs too.

Water features to cool off, cute musical activities for little kids. Nice stop to see, with beautiful plants. Large waterfall where kids can get soaked- bring a change of clothes if you plan to go somewhere after.

with beautifully crafted time lines of Beardon's creative life, the park is a beautful homage to a really interesting artist~ well kept up gardens, a lovely waterfall make this a lovely place to stroll or stop and smell the lilac.

This is a great place to take your pet, have a picnic, enjoy lawn concerts or watch the fireworks from 4th of July. I love the lighted water fall here and the kids just LOVE the musical instruments they can play with. It is unique...More

Go to the local city offices and if that doesn't work, go to the county offices.
