First time visiting this lake. Went canoeing which was $13 per boat and per hour. Fun experience for some first timers! You could also bring your fishing poles and fish while using their canoes or go fishing on the land. They also sell live baits...More

We rented a canoe for $13 for an hour at the lake. They took cash and credit when we were there in July 2016. The rental place didn't mind if we took our dog in the canoe (NC State parks won't allow dogs in boats)....More

Whether you rent a canoe or walk around the 2.3 mile easy hike trail you will have wonderful views of the lake and blooming flowers. Wonderful picnic areas here too!

Great relaxing and fun kayaking on the lake. Very reasonable at $10 per hour for kayak rental. If you really are into kayaking this is not for you. Sit on top with molded feet rest. I prefer adjustable foot pegs.
