It was a bit early in the season and so the trails had not yet been cleaned up. The preserve is very peaceful. We watched the birds and some small animals. I recommend downloading the trail map on your phone and using some kind of...More

No too strenuous but beautiful views once you get to the top. If you get only 1 shot, go in the fall. The colors are spectacular

In my last review i said no birds as this fits into the schema of Mother nature at this time. Since the deer are eating the understory of plants and shrubs, bird habitat is scarce. Song birds are on the decline as we fill all...More

For a quick hike up a small mountain with a nice slope and many rocks come to Turkey Mountain. Lots of shade and a few challenges. Great views at summit!

Someone works hard to maintain the trails. There are bridges over the streams, and very well marked trails and maps. You can do 20 minutes short loop or an all day longer hike. The view from the easily achieved summit is very nice. Wild blueberries...More

Great for a not too strenuous hike, beautiful view at top, the white trail is steeper than the blue one but both lead to top, so can take one up and the other down.

My family and I have enjoyed Turkey Mountain for , at least 30 years. The trails are marked well and easy to follow. About the last quarter of the hike is a little steep, but those who endure are treated to an incredible view of...More

This is a nice hike for someone in fairly good shape with good knees (needed for the up-hill climbs). The trails were well marked and well maintained. We went up the white trail and down the blue trail. The view from the top on a...More

Easy fun hike, in a nice safe neighborhood. If your lucky you'll see wild turkeys. When you get to the top you'll see a nice view. Wrest comfy shoes, put on your suntan lotion and bring your water bottle. Dogs welcomed

Sorry I do not have any pics of Tory holes or the leather man's cave. There are holes in an old built bird blind. I have not seen or heard the Leatherman stayed at Turkey Mt. on his route.
