Explore the ancient wonders of Ngilgi Cave! The Cave is warm in winter and cool in summer. Ngilgi Cave is located just off Caves Road, a short distance north of Yallingup, beneath the limestone ridge which forms Cape Naturaliste. The fascinating association with a rich Aboriginal legend describing the battle between a good spirit (Ngilgi) and an evil spirit (Wolgine) gives Ngilgi Cave its name. Explore the cave and experience stunning stalactite, stalagmite, helictite and shawl formations. Visit an interpretive area detailing Ngilgi Cave's interesting history. A cafe, playground, barbecue facilities and walk trails make Ngilgi Cave a fun place to visit for the entire family. OPENING HOURS 9.00Am to 5.00Pm (First tour at 9.30Am Last entry to Ngilgi Cave at 4.00Pm.)

Excellent time, great tour guide (thanks Dom) and was actually pretty adventurous! The "big squeeze" was a lot of fun!

Great attraction for all ages. Beautiful stalactite and stalagmites. Caves are well lit. My husband almost got stuck in the kid tunnel - not a good idea for tall adults. For the kids tunnel, an adult has to turn around to make the corner. We...More

Had an awesome adventure tour today at Ngilgi Cave. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and extremely explicit with his introductions on how to navigate safely around the cave. Thanks for providing my son and I with a shared experience.

The caves are quite easy to climb and explore with young children . It’s not too massive and takes about 1 to 1.5hrs to explore depending on your pace. Be sure to use the toilets before entering the caves though as there are no toilet...More

We did the cave with 4 adults and 4 children ages 10, 2x 6 and a 3 year old. 350 stairs which make a great workout to see some amazing stalactites and stalagmites. The kids enjoyed the cave as did the adults. Good comfy shoes...More

This is by far the most interesting of all the caves in the Margaret River region. You do have to have a degree of fitness though as there are many steps to the deepest sections. The lighting has been perfectly positioned to give you the...More
