This Memorial is certainly significantly different to other War Memorials that we have visited. It is located to the rear of the Visitor Centre and surrounded by a circle of Doric pillars. There are a number of memorials in the complex dedicated to service personnel who fought in numerous campaigns, also a chronology of campaigns leads to the central monument. Other memorials are located around the perimeter. There is also an aircraft propeller and field gun on site. Two of the Doric pillars have busts of soldiers with hands resting on their rifle butts. Lest We Forget.

Loved the lone pine that was grown from a seed of the tree from Gallipoli, this is a nice touch. The memorial is very austere but we found that several plaques looked like they were missing from the columns

I usually go to the War Memorial on Anzac Day, whereby thousands of people go for this March. Biggest March outside of Perth, because of the Navy contingient on HMAS Stirling. The park has been made very beautiful over the years, and COR look after this very well.

Visited today and not quite sure I understand the significance of the Greek columns.
I like the acknowledgement to all the services.

The memorial to soldiers off all our boys wars. A dignified and quiet place to sit a while, and contemplate. Services held here each Anzac day.

I was in the park and I found a memorial. It was huge!
There were roses nearby, and lots of grass and trees.
The first thing of this monument was the many pillars that were there.
When i came closer, I found it was a memorial.
This is in memory of the men and women of the Rockingham District who at the call of duty gave their lives for their country.
There was a canon. There was also some statues on the pillars.
It is attractive!
These were heroes.
This is worthwhile to see!
