Nice beach close to the main road and small town. Nice location and would recommend a day here and at the pelican feeding area.

From Chinamans point you can see where the Murchison River finally meets the Indian Ocean. There is a lot of action where the huge ocean waves smash into the rocks below. A great place to view the sunset too.

In the corner towards the mouth of the river is the best place to swim. The carpark is close by and toilets and picnic facilities close by. This is a free activity and can be enjoyed by all.

a fantastic beach for the whole family, a gently shelving beach, most days as flat as a pancake, ideal for a picnic and family day out. Boat hire also on the beach with a few good cafes

Beautiful place for all. Clear blue sparkling water. Very protected from the wind. Car park close so not far to walk if carrying lots of things for you or the kids.

Story has it that a chef from the pub used to go there after work (for a drink or fish not sure what). He was a chinaman so they called it that. True or not who knows!!. Hope this helps
