1861 House and Store
Sep 2020
This is another historic building with external walls largely restored. Built by ticket of leave convicts in 1861 it incorporates a two storey dwelling with attached single storey store and roof of timber shingles. There is also a spacious stone-wall enclosed courtyard containing a fresh water well and circular stone water-tank partially recessed in the ground. All external entrances to the building are secured. It is listed by the National Trust and seeking EOI's from business or individuals for uses compatible with the building's heritage
