Meelup beach is wonderful little beach near Eagle bay and Bunker bay. It is very protected so would be great for kids. If you come to see the moon rise make sure its the right time of year.

Grandkids loved running on the white sands and dipping their toes into the sparkling azure water. We took our lunch with us and thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours there. Highly recommend a visit there.

This beach was pretty good but I feel like the Western Australians are spoilt with fantastic beaches. Great for swimming, very small swell. I'm not sure if its always that calm. The beach was very quiet. I had my only Kookaburra sighting on this beach...More

Although it was a cold day I had to stop in to see Meelup beach and I wasn’t disappointed. The beach and the scenery was amazing although I wish I went for a swim. I will have to visit another time when it’s warmer.

Crystal clear ocean, gentle swell, plenty of room for all, white sandy beach. Summer can bring a strong breeze which kicks up the sand, but the shady trees on the green lawn is a top spot for your picnic. Be prepared to see ducks and...More

I was amazed to see how many new trees they had planted at that beach. Wow! Dogs cannot come to this beach,to protect the plants and trees. It was neat. We had parked our car and what we saw was gorgeous. There were mature trees...More

Super nice beach. The boys had a great time snorkeling and the water is so clear. Located in a great bay with perfect swimming conditions for families, especially with young children.

Stunning clear water, perfect fine sandy beach. Fishing or snorkeling, this is the place for it. The water was freezing this time of year.
